    The Samata Story

Samata Behavioral Health and Wellness Institute, LLC, PLLC is a culmination of nearly 25 years of training, experience, and passion. We have been serving minds, bodies and spirits since 2017; providing counseling and wellness to Alabama and North Carolina communities.

Stephanie Kraczkowski opened Samata in July of 2017 in a small single office in downtown Enterprise, Alabama. By 2019, we had grown by leaps and bounds adding related wellness services. We officially outgrew our downtown location and moved to the Southern Truck Outfitters location on Highway 134 in March of 2020. Not long after we moved into our new office, Governor Kay Ivey Issued the “Safer at Home” order and all Samata services moved to virtual location.

Samata was able to provide a hybrid of in-person and virtual services until September of 2021. At that time, a second location was opened in North Carolina. All services then began to be provided solely via Telemental Health so that more communities could receive services where options had been limited.

We can be reached by phone Mondays through Fridays from 8am to 4pm Central Time in Alabama at 334-500-5135 and 9am to 5pm Eastern Time in North Carolina at 910-491-1727.

    Samata Philosophy

My goal is to help people find their paths to lifelong wellness. Samata Behavioral Health and Wellness Institute, LLC, PLLC was founded on the principle that giving people what they need and placing it within their reach is the right and fair thing to do. The United States is currently in the midst of a mental health crisis. With cuts in funding to community mental health facilities and lack of adequate insurance coverage, people are left on their own to navigate their way to appropriate and affordable care.

Stephanie understands the impact this has had on our communities. In response, she provides state of the art services and training to new and experienced therapists in an effort to positively impact accessibility to care. Samata accepts many major insurance payers and many different convenient and affordable options that make mental health care accessible. Stephanie feels that EVERYONE DESERVES quality mental health care and wellness, regardless of income, race, gender, age, creed, sexual orientation or culture.
